WeScanTransfer is a browser-based service for moving text, photos, documents and files between a phone and a computer. Open it on one device, scan the QR code with the other and transfer in either direction without creating an account.
What the product is for
It is designed for the everyday gap between ecosystems: iPhone to Windows, Android to Mac, PC to phone, and similar combinations where native tools are unavailable or add unnecessary setup. It is temporary delivery, not permanent cloud storage.
How we describe the service
Our public guides separate verified product behavior from comparisons and opinion. We publish review dates, explain meaningful limitations, preserve original file formats and avoid unsupported “fastest” or “safest” claims.
Privacy principles
Transfers use encrypted connections and temporary storage. Free-session content automatically expires, and users can delete it sooner. We do not use file contents for advertising or AI training. Full details and exceptions are documented in the privacy policy and security overview.
